Unbottling your potentials for utmost utility and profitability

Matthew 5:13-16
13. Ye are the salt of the earth; but if the Salt have lost his savour, where with shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under the foot of men

14. Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid

15. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on the candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven.

We are all born into this world with a clean slate, the same unlimited potentials but when we get to the end it may seem that some have been gifted with more potentials than the others.
The why or reason is caused by ignorance, which create limitations and barriers that obscures the full manifestation of our potentials.

What is potential?
Simply, it means when you possess the quality and ability to be useful in future.

I Timothy 2:21
....fit for the Master's use.

Let's not forget, your first potential to be discovered is "fellowship".
God desires fellowship that's why He created you.
Your first service is fellowship with Jehovah.

How can you unbottle your potentials

Every human regardless of colour, gender or any other factor has the ability to uncover potentials embedded inside.

1. Who are my?
You must know who you're, you must identify where you belong and where your headed.

The worse and first enemy us yourself

Know yourself first!

2. Challenge common thought traps.

Romans 12:2
....be transformed by the renewing of your mind,

I read a book by Past Chris Oyakilome titled the power of the mind, I recommend you go check it out.
He said "your the expression of your mind"
Your thinking faculty should be aligned with God's thinking faculty.
Adopt a growth mindset, stir any thoughts that could trap and subject you against God's will.
Life is short so think, just like the clock we place in our homes and wear on our wrist, the seconds interpretation as it progresses is think! think!! think!!! and think!!!!.

3. Set core values and goals.

Whatever you wish and wish to become is very possible, the secret is setting values and follow deligently.
John C. Maxwell said "Decisions help you start and discipline helps you finish"
A dream that is written down becomes a goal and a goal that is broken down into steps becomes a plan and plan that is backed up with an action becomes a reality.

4. Study Jesus.

John 14:6
Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life....

Jesus is the true way to success, when you study the Bible you study Jesus cause Jesus is the word, and only that can you uncover your true nature.

Joshua 1:8
.....for thou shall make they way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Action point
Sweet Jesus help me by grace to unbottle my potentials, Amen

THE CALL

Topic: The Call Text: Ephesians 4:11 – “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.” Introduction Every believer has a call from God. The call is not just about being in the pulpit; it is about fulfilling God’s divine purpose for our lives. In Ephesians 4:11, Paul highlights different ministry offices established by Christ for the growth and maturity of His church. This passage shows us that the call is not man-made, but God-ordained. Today, we will examine The Call in four dimensions: The Source of the Call, The Purpose of the Call, The Responsibility of the Called and the 5 ministry offices and functions.  1. The Source of the Call It comes from God, not man (Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee…”). Christ Himself gives the offices (Eph. 4:11 says He gave ). The call is not based on human ability, but divine choice (1 Corinthians 1:27-29). Example: Moses didn’t choose...

THE TREE OF LIFE

🌳 The Tree of Life – God’s Gift of Eternal Fellowship Text: Genesis 2:9, Revelation 22:1–2 Introduction : From the very beginning of creation, God planted the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden as a symbol of His desire for man to live eternally in fellowship with Him. Though sin cut man off from it, in Christ, the Tree of Life reappears at the end of the Bible, showing God’s eternal plan of redemption and restoration. 1. The Tree of Life in the Beginning (Genesis 2:9) Planted by God at the center of Eden. Symbol of immortality, health, and unbroken fellowship . Adam and Eve were free to eat from it as long as they obeyed God. It shows that God’s plan was always for man to live, not to die. Life Application: God has always desired us to walk in life , not in death and destruction. 2. The Loss of Access (Genesis 3:22–24) After sin, man was driven from Eden. Angels with flaming swords guarded the way to the Tree of Life. Sin separates man from God and H...
